Getting What We Don't Have: Research Articles, Delivered by Email (April 2009-August)

Even many experienced students, staff and faculty are confused about how to request journal articles, book chapters and conference papers using interlibrary loan to receive scans by email. This guide will walk you through the process step by step.

Cornell's New Catalog (January 2009 - April 2009)

Beginning January of 2009, the Cornell University Library is rolling out a new library gateway page and a new catalog based on WorldCat Local. Learn about the new catalog's functions and features in this new poster.

E-Books in Science and Engineering (November 2008-January 2009)

The Cornell University Library system has access to more than 400,000 e-books,
including several whole libraries specially designed for use by students, scholars and professionals in science and engineering. These e-books are available in full-text, from anywhere, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Some of the individual e-books in these collections are not easy to locate by regular searches in the library catalog.  To find them, you need to know where to look.

Weill Cornell Medical College (September-November 2008)

Although librarians at both Cornell in Ithaca and at the Weill-Cornell Medical College in New York City are working to make the same set of resources available on both campuses, there are still differences in what's available. Come and see this poster on what the strengths of the libraries at Cornell's campuses are and how researchers can access materials not held on their own campus.

2002 Excellence in Academic Libraries Award from the Association of College and Research Libraries was awarded to Cornell University Library for programs that deliver exemplary services and resources to further the educational mission of the institution. Details in a news article from the Cornell Daily Sun. The glass award was on display Dec 2, 2003 - January 6, 2004.
