ACCEL
- The Academic Computing Center in the Engineering Library has workstation computers, classrooms and scanners for your use. The workstations are equipped with MS Office and many specialized applications needed by Engineering students.
After-hours bookdrop
- Library books may be returned to the after-hours bookdrop located by the front doors of the building (north side of Carpenter Hall). The bookdrop is open only when the library is closed. Please return fragile items and non-book items (laptops, tapes, CDs, etc.) to the library service desk.

Laptops
Lockers
- Lockers are available for rent to Cornell students by the semester or by the year ($10/semester or $18/year). They are located in the staircase to the basement. Please contact the service desk at (607) 255-5933 for more information about rental and availability.
Group Study Rooms
- The library has two group study rooms with laptop connectivity, plasma displays, and whiteboards. They are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Photocopy and Fax Machines
- Two photocopiers, a fax machine and a vendacard encoder are located on the first floor.
