Printing

Print to any one of five printers by using Net-Print. Both black and white (HP 8150) and color (Xerox Phaser 8200s and 8400s) laser printers are available on the first floor of the library, as well as the second floor classrooms.

  • ENGR-LIB1 - Black and white, $0.09, HP LaserJet 4100, First Floor
  • ENGR-LIB2C - Color, $0.25, Xerox Phaser 6250N, First Floor
  • ENGR-LIB3D - Black and white duplex, $0.09 per side, Xerox Phaser 4500DT, First Floor
  • ACCEL1 - Black and white, $0.09, HP LaserJet 8150, Second Floor
  • ACCELFL2COL - Color, $0.25, Xerox Phaser 8400DX, Second Floor

Photocopiers

  • Black and white photocopiers Two Konica copiers are available at the entrance to the stacks. Both operate with coins (15 cents per page), or Vendacard debit cards(10 cents per page) which may be purchased in a nearby machine for 55 cents. 
  • Additional account services are available at the Eastern Copy Products office, located in the Physical Sciences Library in room 279 Clark Hall.  See this office to resolve disputes or purchase Vendacards with Cornell procurement cards.  The office is staffed 11am-1pm Monday-Friday.

Public Computers

  • ACCEL maintains approximately 105 desktop computers, which are available for use by members of the Cornell community. There is a large selection of general utility and Engineering related software installed on these machines.
  • Library Kiosks - These provide access to the internet, and allow you to view, but not edit, documents (such as Microsoft Word or PDF documents)
      
  • Creation Stations - Two full productivity computer stations with various software and hardware applications.  The stations include scanners.

Laptops

  • The library lends out laptops for 4 hours.  More information...

Wireless

  • CIT's Red Rover Wireless access is available throughout the library.  Accessing Red Rover on personal laptops requires registration (guest registration is available).  More information...
 

Scanner

  • Six scanners and a slide scanner are available for use in the Engineering Library. 
 

Microfiche/film reader and reader/printer

  • A microfiche reader, and a micfofiche/film reader/printer, are available to view and print the library's microfiche and microfilm collection.  To print, a Vendacard must be used (as for photocopies).  Vendacards may be purchased at the machine near the photocopiers in stack one. 
 
 
ADA Station
  • ADA station is available with Assistive Technology software, including JAWS, Text to Audio and E Text Reader.  A scanner is attached to this computer as well.  It is located on the first floor of the library.  Headphones may be checked out at the service desk for four hours.

 

 

VHS station

  • One station, located in Stack 1, is available to view VHS cassettes.  Headphones may be checked out at the service desk.
 
 

Other equpiment available for loan

  • Projector and tripod may be available.  Please contact the ACCEL supervisor with request.  More information...
  • Headphones - Headphones are available for 4-hour loan.  They are held at the service desk.
