Downloading and Installing Instructions

1. If you have SciFinder Scholar 2006 or previous versions installed, uninstall before beginning installation of the new version.  Older versions are no longer functional.

2. Download sfs2007CU.exe and double-click on it. This will place the SciFinder Scholar installer (sfs07installer.exe) and site.prf file in c:\SFSCHLR.

3. On your computer, go to c:\SFSCHLR and double-click sfs07installer.exe. This will begin the installation of SciFinder Scholar.

4. Follow the prompts to complete the installation. When you see "Do you have a disk labeled Custom Site Files?", choose No. You'll be asked if you want to install the SciFinder Toolbar. This feature is optional and will add a toolbar to Internet Explorer; it may conflict with other browser toolbars.
